Anthony Garratt

Anthony Garratt was born in Sevenoaks, lives in Bristol and studied at Falmouth College of Arts. He is predominantly a painter of the landscape; his work concerned with the weather, an experience and the impact of a landscape. His research time is spent in heavy weather, in remote locations and places that have an emotional impact. Inspiration comes from the vulnerability of humans in the context of the natural landscape and the ever-changing climate which carries with it the mood of the people.
