The RWA welcomes families of all ages to visit and engage with exhibitions and get involved in a range of creative activities and events.

Scribble and Sketch are monthly creative activity sessions for families that take place at the RWA, Easton Community Centre and Redcliffe Children's Centre.  Often inspired by the current exhibitions, this morning of fun and exploration allows children and adults to experiment, create and play together.

For more structured children's workshops, have a look at our Junior Drawing School programme, which will commence in early 2018. This will include studio and gallery-based sessions aimed at developing artistic knowledge, skills and techniques, from drawing to printmaking.

Exhibitions at the RWA are family friendly and everyone is encouraged to bring sketchbooks into the galleries. Our Art Wall and Art Trolley, situated on the first floor landing, include a range of materials and activities designed to help you enjoy exploring the exhibitions and to inspire you to get creative!
