Described Tours

Described Tour of Fire: Flashes to Ashes in British Art

As part of the Light and Inspiration Activity Programme, Described tours for people with visual impairments run regularly, led by our experienced Art History teacher and Describer, Sarah Kelly. Each session focuses on a different selection of art works. We contact the artists to seek permission for the group to touch their artwork, and often the artists join the session to talk about their work as well. The sessions mean that visitors with visual impairments can understand the work by feel.
