The Public Catalogue Foundation is an independent charity set up to record every oil, acrylic and tempera painting in Britain. Bristol alone has over 2000 paintings dotted around the city, some on display, but the majority are tucked away in offices, archives and stores, largely inaccessible to the public. Dr Fred Hohler is the founder of the Public Catalogue Foundation and will be discussing their recent project.
