Tokyo based Adam Smith of PePoMo and Julie McCalden, artist and Director of Bristol's Motorcade/Flash Parade discuss their socially engaged practice. Each artist considers the socio-political structures in which we live and responds by producing work that calls the viewer-participant to re-evaluate their presumptions. Playful and inventive, these artists engage with fictional narratives as a means for us to question the world in which we exist.
