Yvonne Auld

Painting and Textile Design Ulster College of Art 1969 - worked as Textile Designer in London - selected as one of the top UK designers to exhibit at the Design Centre. Moved to Wiltshire in 1980s and has concentrated on painting since - currently acrylics and hand painted silk pictures.
Painting are landscape, the natural world, including flowers and still-life. Figurative work often done on site, more abstracted work in the studio.

David Auld

Interest in landscapes since pre-television childhood out-doorsin Leicestershire.Degree in Geography - taught in East Africa and then London before much longer career in Town and Country Planning. Now paints whenever possible in Wiltshire and abroad, trying to capture the wonderful variety of landscape and built form at home and in Scotland, France and Italy. Has painted mainly in watercolour to capture subtle changes of colour light and form - more recently in acrylics with mixed media techniques to give more vitality to his imagery. Has exhibited and sold over the last 10 years across southwest Counties and shows at the Handel House Gallery in Devizes.
