RWA and Kiki Bristol present an evening of creative performance, art appreciation, open discussion and a unique opportunity to learn from activist, academic and creative experts, including;

Harold OffehVisual artist, performer and facilitator, Sunil Gupta: Photographer and activist, and Dr. Mena Fombo: global speaker, trainer and film director, and Malaika Kegode: poet and performer.

The panel discussion facilitated by Dr Myles-Jay Linton will respond to the themes of sexuality, ethnicity and identity as addressed in the RWA exhibition Me, Myself, I: Artists' Self Portraits.

During the evening, a series of performances will take place in the gallery space, along with plenty of time to look at the exhibition and talk to one another.

You are invited to be part of the conversation - whether you identify as an LGBTQ person of colour or come as an ally - you are welcome.

This event aims particularly to encourage attendance from people who have traditionally felt marginalised from arts institutions such as RWA. In keeping with RWA policy and ethos, no racism, homophobia, transphobia or any other –ism or schism will be tolerated.
