Welcome to the RWA, where most of our building is free to access as we proudly operate as a self-funded charity. Enjoy FREE access to our Cafe, Family Activity Space, Shop, Kenny Gallery, and Lower Ground Floor exhibition spaces.

Our main exhibition spaces on the first floor are ticketed which can be purchased at the Welcome Desk on the day of your visit.

Main Exhibition Ticket Prices:

  • Annual Art Pass: £16 (unlimited access for a full year)
  • Adult day ticket: £9.90 (includes optional £1 donation, eligible for gift aid)
  • Concession* day ticket: £5.45 (includes optional 55p donation, eligible for gift aid)
  • Free admission** for Friends of the RWA, RWA Art Pass Holders, under 21s, students (please bring student ID).

* Disabled people (required companion free); people on Universal Credit; Art Fund card holders
** All RWA Members (Patrons, Friends, Academicians, Artists Network); all under 21s; all FE & HE students with valid student ID; required companion for disabled people; Museums Association, AIM or SWFed members).

RWA Art Pass

Friends of the RWA

If you desire a more immersive experience, consider joining the Friends of the RWA. Membership offers exclusive benefits such as trips, talks, a 5% discount on Drawing School classes, and the opportunity to showcase your work in the Friends Exhibition. Become a Friend of the RWA by purchasing your membership online.

As a completely independent charity, the RWA relies on the generosity of its visitors and does not receive any regular public funding. Your small entrance fee for our main gallery exhibitions helps fund our commitment to delivering creative activities in under-served communities, maintaining our beautiful listed building, and bringing great art to Bristol. We strive to keep prices affordable, and our visitors consistently affirm that we offer excellent value for money.
