Sharples and Winterstoke Galleries
With beautifully constructed interiors, wooden floors and marble friezes, these 19th century rooms have housed works from the big names in British Art including Turner, Constable, Nash and Hockney. The main galleries are flexible spaces for events from 30-350 people. These galleries are available for evening drinks and parties, launches and film screenings, and for breakfast meetings or all day on Mondays. Hire of the Sharples and Winterstoke Galleries also includes use of our stunning marble landing and historic balcony.
The similar yet smaller Milner Gallery can be hired separately to the Main Galleries and provides an intimate setting for a smaller drinks party or private reception.
Landing and Balcony
This Summer 2019, the RWA is opening its iconic Grade II* listed landing and balcony for exclusive evening hire. Whether you’re planning relaxed summer cocktails, a special celebration or a formal canapé reception, our impressive marble landing, overlooked by a breath-taking atrium, and historic west-facing terrace are the perfect setting to treat your clients, colleagues, friends and family.
We are very excited to be offering a summer package option with the landing and balcony hire, which includes canapés and a welcome glass of bubbly for £18 + vat per person. To discuss this further, please contact our Events Manager on the details below.
Available for hire throughout the week, the Fedden Gallery is an ideal setting for board meetings or seminars for up to 50 people. Hire includes use of Wi-Fi and built-in audio visual facilities. Catering can be provided by our in-house cafe The Epiphany at a price per person rate.
Delegates are encouraged to make the most of complimentary admission to our exhibitions during their time at the RWA.
Should you wish, you can hire all five of our galleries for you event. For more information on any of the spaces, or to discuss your specific requirements, contact Rachel Hinds, Events Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0117 906 7609.
